has been AWESOME (imagine that super sarcastic way Ashton Kutcher says it!). The third time has just been so much harder! I have been so much more emotional and feel like it has been way painful. I have had sciatic nerve pain on one side and if I overdue it- which the definition of overdoing it varies day by day, my stomach gets so sore that I can hardly stand up straight. I have not been very friendly this time around either. In fact, my kids have probably taken the worst of my emotions and non-friendliness. Just the other day Declan told me "he liked me better before I was pregnant" when I asked him why he said because I was more playful. Sorry buddy, it will be over soon!
For today, my biggest complaint would have to be....my swollen feet! I don't think the picture does them justice...they are HUGE and so sore! The heat is not helping them at all either! I think a friend of mine said it best when she said it she were ever to update her facebook status it would say "Just cleaned the bathroom and feel like I ran 10 miles!" In fact, after going back and reading her funny post about how she was feeling with her third pregnancy I am convinced that I will actually post this with my true feeling about this pregnancy!
Another thing that has been strange with the third pregnancy and already having a boy and a girl is that there really has not been a lot that I need to prepare or buy! We have put a bassinet in our room but we have not set up the crib yet. I still need to pack a hospital bag and a diaper bag and of course I like my house to be spotless before I actually have the baby! This week I finally got around to washing and putting away all of Delaney's baby clothes and my list of "things to do before the baby comes" is almost complete!
On a different note, I can't believe that my due date is only 10 days away! I will admit that I am not ready to have this baby yet but I am definitely ready and so excited to start feeling normal again. And of course, I can't wait to meet this little girl and see what she is going to look like. We are planning on naming her Dulcie Jacinth (after my sister). I feel so unprepared. Because Delaney was a c-section I don't have any confidence that I actually remember how to go through labor and get this baby here! I really am nervous!
