We were watching Meet the Robinsons with Declan last night and during the last few scenes they play Rob Thomas' Little Wonders. I was listening to the lyrics- they are so amazing. It is favorite song as of last night! So here they are...

Happy Birthday to Me!!

Yesterday was my 23rd birthday! Not too crazy about the number 23...I liked being 22. Anyway, my day started off with an unexpected surprise- a new {red} ipod, itunes certificate and armband!!

Declan and I went to Happy Cakes for a cupcake. He chose Chocolate on Chocolate and I went for the cookies and cream. I do have to say that the frosting is soooo good and the cake part is just average.

After that we went to the sprayground with the Kovach women and let the kids play. I got to have one of my favorites for lunch, Chipotle!

In the evening we went to Johnny Carinos's with my parents and sister and had another favorite of mine..Spicy Romano Chicken. Declan insisted on having me take of picture of him with his food too!!

And to end the day...Coconut Cream Pie. Homemade. My favorite! So yes, my birthday mostly revolved around food...just the way I like it!! And yes, I am very spoiled!! Thanks everyone!!

Family Camp Out #2

Last weekend was family camp out #2 with my Mom's side of the family. We went up to Sylvan Lake in Eagle, CO. We used to camp there as a family growing up and hadn't been back in a long time!! It has changed so much! They now have flushing toilets and showers! One convenience I didn't mind having was running water and soap in the bathrooms!!

My Papa was able to meet Delaney for the first time. (Notice the toothpick in his mouth- when I think of my Papa this is the image that comes up in my mind!!)

We saw a lot of wildlife. Some raccoons raided our camp and made out with a loaf of bread, a box of fruit roll-ups and an entire bag of cereal. They obviously tried to break into our cooler but my smart husband had it tied down just for that reason!! Between all of us we saw a snake, chipmunks, hummingbirds, a bear, deer, a marmot/whistle pig, fish, and mice.

We did lots of dirt bike riding and four-wheeler riding which is always a blast! I was tearing it up with my Dad on a long ride. My Mom always says that my Dad acts like he's 17 when he rides dirt bikes and he proved that by flipping it while he was getting crazy. Luckily, he's fine-just a little sore!

Declan loved throwing rocks in the river and wanted me take a picture of every single rock that he threw in...I have about 50 rock pictures!

Declan always has plenty of junk food while we are camping. His favorite camping MEAL is chips.

With my family camping and fishing are synonymous. My Dad and sister caught six fish their first trip to the lake and I caught two on the next day.

Little Miss did great again! She is a novice camper. It was so fun- lots of new memories.

Running a little late...

Yes, yes- I know, the fourth of July was a month ago but I never did get pictures of the two of them together in their little outfits so this is what I got. And that is a genuine pout face. More matching outfits pictures to come- and I thought my mom only did that to torture me and my sister!!

Firetrucks!

Last Saturday we went to a pancake breakfast fundraiser to build a new firehouse. For $2 a person we had pancakes and Declan was able to climb on some real firetrucks!! (We really just went so he could do that!)
