Drum Roll Please.....

First off, since I have never officially said it on here- we are pregnant!! Baby #3 is due July 30th!
Now to the good stuff!!! It's a GIRL!!! I have to admit I was a little bit shocked! I felt like the baby was a girl at first but then my Grandpa made his prediction, which has never been wrong, and said boy. Since then I have thought well we are just waiting to confirm that he was right but like he said, "We all have to be wrong once in our life." Jason, Delaney and I couldn't be happier but it took Declan a little longer to come to terms with it! It wasn't until we had left the appointment and were driving in the car that he said, "Yes! Since it is a girl, I won't have to hear it crying since it will be in Delaney's room!" I am very happy that Delaney will have herself a sister! Afterwards we went to celebrate by taking the kids to Casa Bonita! Declan has been randomly asking to go to the "gorilla place" and we thought tonight was a good night. My parents met us there to celebrate!
Now onto the planning. C-section or VBAC? Names? How to fit all that furniture in one room?

Delaney's New Haircut and the Declan Calendar

I don't think there is any kid out there that likes to pose for pictures as much as Declan. We were driving home from haircuts this morning and I told him I wanted to take some pictures for Auntie and he started whining that he didn't want to?! Two minutes later when I got out my camera he is in full model mode. After every click there is a new pose! He is hilarious because he even changes his facial expressions! I told him he wasn't listening so his turn was over and he started crying! After I took a few more of Delaney I let him come back and take some with the two of them together.
Delaney got a haircut this morning too. I was nervous to cut it short but it looks so cute and I am so glad that Randi just did it!
Speaking of Delaney, while I was in Utah she was being quite the little character for Jason. He had to take her to take an employee some tools at a job site and she had to tag along while Declan was at school. She wouldn't talk to anyone while they were there and turned into the usual stubborn shy girl she can be when the attention is on her. After they left there she looks at Jason completely serious and tells him, "You owe me a cheeseburger for that." WHAT!!! When has she ever heard anyone say that before?!!?! So of course he takes her to get a cheeseburger and they pass the business on the way home and Delaney asks if they can stop and talk to that lady that had been trying to talk to her the whole time they were there before!! Silly girl!
**Another big thing happened while I was in Utah. Delaney is officially done with her boppy! She told Jason she was ready to throw them all away the day that I left and she hasn't had one since! She has asked me since I have been home but I never would have dreamed that giving up the boppy would be so painless!**

Sisters Weekend

Six months ago for my birthday my sister gave me a ticket to Utah for an all expenses paid sisters weekend! There happened to be some big event every month where we were able to see each other so we wanted to wait till it had been a while since out last visit! Last weekend was THE weekend and by the time it rolled around I was ready to take a break from normal life!
When we got back to her house the first night, this is what was on my pillow- emergency saltines and a candy bar!
The night we went to the movies (to see Just Go With It) there were some teenage girls literally throwing themselves at this Justin Bieber poster. It was hilarious, I believe the actual quote from one of them was "What if I smash my face?" as she was running towards the billboard at full speed!
We also spent a lot of time shopping and eating out and staying up waaaayy too late! I was able to catch up on a lot of new releases and definitely became re-addicted to Diet Coke with Cherry Coke in it. (Some of the gas stations out there actually have drive thrus for fountain drinks!!). It was so good to not have to prepare meals and be kid and schedule free for a few days and hang out with some of my most favorite people! This definitely could become a birthday tradition!!
