Declan, Delaney and I took a much needed trip to Palisade to visit my Granny in April. It had been almost a year since I had been to see her and I was missing her! It worked out perfectly because even though we didn't get to see Papa, because he had been working for so many days straight she needed our company too! We had a great time visiting and taking the kids to paint pottery. We also made the most delicious dinner- homemade bread, homemade pasta and sauce. Ironically, the salad was the only thing that we didn't make! We canned some spaghetti sauce and also made some strawberry freezer jam! I love going out there because I just love learning a new "skill" from my Gran! Hopefully it won't be another year before we do it again!
